***** please, shotguns are fine. I run a shotgun scout and i think they are balanced weapons. it takes me 3 HITS, 3 not 2 to take down a heavy and thats with a level 3 shotty and a damage mod. Also its more likely your fault you got shotgunned...

How about to use it, you need a lvl 2 heavy variant dropsuit. A dropsuit that is fire proof so that you don't catch on fire. Using cheaper militia suits are acceptable but every once and while you'll feel the heat affecting you too.
